Introducing Barcelona, valors afegits, a new project about people involved with culture in Barcelona.

I portrayed well-known luthier David Bagué at his atelier in the neighborhood of Gràcia, in Barcelona.
Bagué started making auto didactic string instruments at the age of twelve and later completed the training in Cremona (Italy). In 2003, the Creu de Sant Jordi was granted to him in recognition of the international prestige reached in his field and to the pioneering work developed in this field in Catalonia. Among the musicians possessing a Bagué are the Italian violinist Ruggero Ricci, the Greek Leonidas Kavakos and Abel Tomàs, member of the Casals Quartet.

One year later I came back to beautiful Greece, in a new sailing trip. This time in the Ionian Sea, from Préveza to Ithaca, to Paxos, and back.
It is difficult to assimilate so much beauty and even more, to try to express it with the camera.

Yesterday evening I was pleased to present my book “músics” in the wonderful art déco building of the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona. My friend Jordi Soley did an interesting speech about art and artists, and the talented members of Quartet Clandestí offered us a couple of pieces by Mendelssohn and Dvorak.
